IMC Lite 1.1 Build 54 Released
Build 54 of IMC Lite 1.1 has been released for both Mac and PC.
This is a bugfix release to fix a couple of niggling issues.
I’ve tweaked some of the database location code that was still throwing errors on OSX and preventing the program from starting.
Let me know how it goes.

REALBasic 2009 Release 3
REAL Software have just updated to REALBasic 2009 Release 3.
I try to keep current on the release cycles to take advantage of new features/ bug fixes in the latest versions of the programming language.
There are a few things I’ll need to update based on this latest release, mainly around how text fields are handled. It will give me the opportunity to clean up some things and have a cleaner look.
This release adds in OpenGL which is nice and while I might use it for another project, I have no plans to put it into Internet Marketers Companion.

An Apple a Day
Well it took a while but I’m finally back in the world of Mac. It looked a good time to jump back in with the new Macbooks now having enough grunt to be useful and small enough to be nice and portable.
I’ve always had a soft spot for the aluminum laptops and spent a few quality years with a 17″ Powerbook back in the day.
What does this mean for IMC? Well of course you’re all going to have to buy Macs right?
Of course not. I use REALBasic to code IMC and it’s a crossplatform programming language. I already have the new IMC Lite ported and running on both Windows and Mac and it shouldn’t take me long to get the full version across also.
Actually what’s taking all the time is that I’ve upgraded to the Professional version which has a few more bells and whistles. Part of that upgrade process is that some of the objects I was using aren’t there anymore and they have to be upgraded to use the new objects. Nothing major, just requires a little bit of quality time.
I’m hoping to give the site a revamp soon, using the graphics I had made last year. My lovely wife is going to use me as a guinea pig as she starts creating custom wordpress themes.
Look for new versions with Mac compatability soon.
Cheers,
Shane
